Christopher Hirsheimer and Melissa Hamilton—the women behind Canal House Station—are cooks, writers, and artists.     Everything was DELICIOUS. We had the Baguette, Clams Casino, and lobster cocktail for appetizers. The Clams Casino were incredible. The lobster cocktail was not quite what I expected. I thought the lobster would come in pieces with no shell but we ended up having to crack half a lobster to get the meat out (but it was still DELICIOUS). For dinner we both ordered the filet and lobster tail. Everything was cooked to perfection and super tender. We savored every bite. For dessert we had a NY cheesecake and the lava cake. Both were super yummy. The portions were perfectly sized. We left feeling satisfied and perfectly full yet not overstuffed. After we took a beautiful night stroll through Main St. and looked at the fun Christmas decor. 10/10 would recommend (the price is worth it).

    Great food (duck confit, striped sea bass). Great wine selection. Great service and staff. On top of it, we sat near the fire, so it was a warm and cozy evening out.

    Food was top notch, as always. There were 11 of us, everyone had something different and not one person complained. The waitstaff was extremely attentive, no one wanted for anything. Before we could ask for anything one of the waitstaff was already walking up to the table with it. The Spain Inn 2 is a hidden roadside Hunterdon county gem!!
