Risotto ve ravioli lezzetliydi , ümit bey çok güleryüzlü ve ilgiliydi akşamımızı pozitif geçirmemizi ve güzel deneyim edinmemizi sağladı kendisine teşekkür ediyoruz.

My experience at Izaka was excellent! The food and wine were great. The view is the best in Istanbul. The servise is also high level. Especially thanks to Mr. Alper the sommelier. The wine he recommended was the best in my entire life, I hope to find it in my country. Fantastic dinner thank you so much! Worth a visit.

Read and heard about the place through different channels. We had reservations for 7pm but when we arrived, they were not ready. We sat down. We asked for the tasting menu with wine pairing. They tried to explain the dishes; explanation was not very good. Then the main waiter arrived with better knowledge. The food was very good. No question. The wine servings were very little in quantity. They forgot to top up the water glasses. The sommelier arrived later too, then left and arrived. He should learn how to pronounce the grapes. He also said Ankara was not a good place for wine when serving Kavaklidere to us. Couldn'l believe this! Kavaklidere was one of the main areas for wine growing/producing. The last dish was a desert with some sorbet. They took away all the cutlery and we were left with the sorbet on the table. it was good experience, we wouldn't go back, and I don't advise to anybody. Good food but not so good service for the price. We were only 3 couples on a Saturday night.

We arrived pretty late for our reservation, nonetheless, we were welcomed warmly. Kitchen was about to close in 15 mins when we arrived, we werent rushed at all, instead the chef took time out to explain the dishes to us and made some recommendations for our desserts. It turned out to be a really pleasant evening courtsey of the staff and chef. We will definitely be back next time we find ourself in Istanbul.
