This was the worst of our perhaps two dozen OpenTable bookings in the greater Munich area. The menu is very limited, and pricing is obscene for what you’re getting, which is pretty basic Bavarian food. We paid slightly over €100 for two main courses with sides (which are charged extra) and soft drinks/water. The Vienna schnitzel was just barely acceptable, really tough meat. The tuna steak was completely overcooked and dry. Service was provided by two young trainees, who were friendly, but never checked up on us. The location right by the lake is stunning on a sunny day. Problem on our sunny day was that it was freezing cold outside, and they were setting up some corporate event outside, so the doors were open and the dining room ridiculously cold and drafty. The place may be fine for a cup of coffee on their beautiful seaside terrace in the summer, but I strongly advise eating elsewhere.

Setting, quality of the food and ambience were good but the service was very poor and subject to discussion amongst those dinning. If they got their act together it would make a real difference.

We booked in advance for the second time and were surprised when the restaurant changed the reservation. The first time, they said they had called us to cancel the reservation and that since we didn't pick up, they were going to make an exception to accommodate us. This time, they called to reschedule my reservation by 30 min because they had an event beforehand. When we arrived for lunch, they said they no longer served lunch, only cocktails. We don't recommend it, despite being a beautiful venue, it seems to be very poorly managed.

We went there to celebrate a private birthday party. We arrived a little before 19:00 and everything was nice. The service gets a little slower after 19:30 but nothing too long. The view from the terrace is very nice and one can catch the evening breeze and enjoy the lakeside view. The food is more than ok. There is a great emphasis placed on placingbthe food on the plates so even a regular Wiener Schnitzel looks like a fine dish. Overall, a nice place. Well worth it.

The food was simple yet elegantly presented and very tasty. We ordered three mains, two glasses of wine and two desserts and the bill came to a very respectable €113. Overall, service was top notch and professional and the view was outstanding - we’ll definitely come again.
