Die Reservierung über OpenTable ging einfach und problemlos. Wir wurden nett empfangen und von allen gegrüßt. Unser Kellner Sai hat uns zum Separee begleitet. Das Separee war schön, geräumig und man hat normalerweise seine Ruhe. Leider empfanden wir die Nachbarn manchmal als störend, da sie außerordentlich laut geredet haben.
Zu den Essen: wir hatten das Kiln-baked Kobe-beef steak course. Jeder Gang wurde vom Kellner erklärt.
Besonders waren die Wagyusticks als Amuse, sie haben vollmundig und nussig geschmeckt, wo das Fett nahezu im Mund geschmolzen ist.
Als Appetizer gab es ein Würfel aus Wagyubrühe und Fleisch, Wagyu Nigiri und deutschen Kaviar mit Zuckerschoten. Das Zusammenspiel war perfekt, thematisch an das Japan angelehnt. Nun zu dem Star der Gänge, das Kobe-beef Steak. Es hat vollmundig, nussig, leicht süßlich geschmeckt, das Fett ist auf der Zunge zerschmolzen. Dazu gab es Gemüse, Wasabi und ein Sojabutterwürfel, den ich nicht für das Kobe-beef Steak verwendet habe, da es den Geschmack vom Kobe-beef übertönt hätte. Die anderen Zwischengängen davor waren normal, nichts besonders. Als Desert gab es einen Matchakuchen mit einer Erdbeere verziert sowie Erdbeereis, welches geschmacklich sehr gut zusammengepasst hat.
Allem in allem haben die Gänge gut zusammengepasst und wurden thematisch schön dargestellt, regionale Lebensmittel wurden mit eingearbeitet. Das Einzige was negativ war, war die eiskalte Butter zu den Brot. Der Service war sehr gut, wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Verglichen zu Deutschland war das insgesamt gut, preislich billig für das, was man angeboten bekommt -> 2 Personen für ca. 360€.
