Easter Brunch April 20th at the Georgian Terrace. Serving favorites to include House Baked Danish, Muffins and Croissants. Eggs Benedict, Chives, Hollandaise, Lemon Ricotta Pancakes, Applewood Smoked Bacon, Chicken Apple Sausage, Shrimp Cocktail with Brandied Cocktail Sauce, Oysters on the Half Shell and Red Wine Mignonette! Enjoy Jonah Crab Claws, Golden Jewel Orzo Salad, Basil Pesto, Fontina, Lacinato Kale Salad, White Beans, Radicchio and delicious Meyer Lemon Vinaigrette. Ashley Farms Baby Greens, Endive, Berries, Apple Cider Vinaigrette, Potatoes Dauphinoise, White and Green Asparagus, Four Cheese - Macaroni Cheese for the cheesy greatness, along with Charred Broccolini with Sliced Garlic, Lemon, and Chiles next to a Pan Seared Sustainable Sea Bass and Citrus Butter Sauce! Evening started with our party of three, with 7pm reservations, waiting 10 minutes at the front desk to be acknowledged. Limited menu to start with and they were “out” of at least one appetizer, entree and desert; very surprising for a Thursday night. Service was sub-par for expected experience and high prices. While our server was nice enough, they didn’t inform us of items that they did not have that evening, until after we ordered, they had to be asked to bring a steak knife after serving my steak, and the entree we ordered that they did not have, was still included when we were presented the bill. Individually, all of these things are not a big deal, but when added together with expectations and prices, it affected our anticipated enjoyment. DINER BEWARE- the biggest insult was they automatically add 18% gratuity to the bill, and unless you read the fine print on the menu, or scrutinize the bill, you may miss it and end up paying additional gratuity, as the check has a blank space for your tip and the now customary recommended %s for that tip. Perhaps this, in part, accounts for the level of service we received.

Dinner before a show at the Fox.....server, Deborah, was fantastic....attentive: checked on us several times to be certain we were satisfird. Filet mignon was cooked perfectly, served with oven gold potatoes with plenty of jus for extra flavor. Trout was uneven....two filets: first was perfect according to my wife, second was "off-flavor"; she skipped it. Wedge salad was perfect match for the steak; beet salad was mostly arugula with a few wedges of beet.... chocolate cake dessert was delightful and large enough to share. All in all, we will return for the steak, not so much the trout.

Food was delicious and staff was great. The hotel restaurant is far enough from lobby so noise is not an issue. We ate before seeing show at Fox theatre. The food was served timely and thus no rush to make show. It is upscale pricing but worth it.

Beautiful historic hotel and restaurant. Food is very good, though expensive. Service is always good. There is often a long wait, so reservations are highly recommended.

Several wines listed were not available. We were celebrating someone’s birthday and nothing was provided for the one celebrating. Steak had to be sent back to the kitchen. Sea bass was delicious.

We had a pretty horrible experience. Had an 11:30 reservation. Waited at the host stand for almost 10min before someone came to seat us/acknowledge we were there. Once at our table it was another 10 minutes before we got water. We quickly put our order in as we were trying to make a 1pm show at the Fox. It was 2 glasses of wine, 2 muffins, 1 fruit/yogurt and one burger. It took over 15min to get our wine. We asked for the muffins to come out because the kids were starving and we were worried about making the show. We also asked to go ahead and pay. Thank goodness because it took almost another 10min to get our check. we had to leave without getting our burger. They chased us down with it in a to-go bag. I’m unsure why they are not better organized and staffed. It seems like such a missed opportunity given their location by the theater. They should be able to turn tables quickly but an hour an a half for nothing that had to be cooked aside from a hamburger is ridiculous.

Livingston brunch right before a matinee at the Fox is absolutely the BEST… our server was wonderful even though they were a little short handed. Food was yummy & our soecial cocktail was FANTASTIC! Thanks so much !!!

I will never go back. Reservation at 11 ordered 11:30 waiter never came back to offer drink refill, checkin, apologize for kitchen issues. 12:15 spoke with manager - never came back. We left!

Great set up for dinner before a show at the Fox, that’s the only reason unfortunately to have dinner here. They know you are probably a one off, unless you go to a lot of shows. Not saying it’s not worth it, just not worth it if you are only there for a night out.
