A rural public house serving local beers, Berkshire gin and ciders, as well as a great wine selection. Bar snacks and full meals available 7 days a week. Cooking over a central grill makes for great theatrical cooking from our open-plan kitchen, overseen by Head Chef Nick Galer. Restaurant with stunning country side views. Fabulous meal for my wife’s birthday. Delicious starters of baked clams, gambas al ajillo and crispy sweetbreads. Followed by mouthwatering shoulder of lamb for two which feel off the bone and tasted fantastic. Excellent service from the attentive staff

Excellent food and service for good prices. A warm welcome when we arrived and very pleasant ambiance. Not rushed to finish and spent an extremely relaxing 4 hours over lunch.

The Denver steak was exceptional! The butternut squash soup with the leek butter on the bread was also delicious. Would definitely recommend.
