At the Nag’s Head we are passionate about food and the excellent quality produce that is available locally. The majority of our food is freshly prepared and cooked from ‘farm to fork’ by our Head Chef Andy Millard and his enthusiastic kitchen team. Our menu is varied and seasonal, appealing to all tastes and includes Chef Specials, favourite traditional “pub classics” and Sunday roasts. We dined with you on a Friday evening. We had delicious food. I had the bruschetta to start and then the chicken as a main. It was nice to have some vegetables as a side. I chose the greens. We had the coco roso mocktail and it was sweet and delicious. The portion sizes are generous, and I couldn’t eat all of my main so I had it packed up to take home. We sat downstairs under the glass and it was lovely. My only negative feedback was that it got slightly cold toward the end of our meal as the patio heater had turned itself off. Our waitress was friendly and efficient, and you could see the kitchen staff having a good laugh whilst working which is always nice to see. Many thanks for a lovely evening.

Fantastic breakfast here today. I had the veggie breakfast which was fabulous. Grilled halloumi, avocado, large mushroom, tomato, beans, hash brown, sourdough and 2 perfect poached eggs. Delicious. My partner and our guest enjoyed the Hive breakfast with locally sourced sausages and bacon. Service was great and overall experience wonderful. We will be back!
