- GGingerGreater Boston •2 Bewertungen4.0Vor 2 Tagen besuchtWent with my mom. We had both never stayed at the hotel so were very excited to have a delicious meal to cap off our stay. We got the whipped feta appetizer and was severely disappointed with how it was presented and what you got for the price. It literally looked like someone already ate part of it and smeared it all over the plate. I asked the waitress and she said it always looked like that. She brought us out a separate bowl with more dip, but it wasn’t just the piddly amount our plate had, it was to horrible presentation. Look at the picture and see for yourself, and that was before we even touched it! For our entree, we both got filet mignon. It was very tasty and able to cut with a butter knife. I forgot to get a picture of it. You pay $68 and any get the steak and some mashed potatoes, no veggies. You have to pay extra ($20!!) for a side and there was only 2 options: mushrooms or asparagus. Crazy. Our table was by the fireplace which was really nice, but I wouldn’t definitely not go back. They need to up their game a bit if they are going to charge that much!Mehr erfahrenStickney's Restaurant at the Omni Mount Washington Resort & SpaPreis: Moderat• Amerikanisch• Bretton Woods•4,4

We were here last just after Columbus Day weekend the weekend after. It's only just pretty much gone for that part. The food then was considerably better than it was this time they have a new chef now and I think he's still as they say cutting his teeth. Richard had hope for the osso bucco and they ran out which well that can happen so you just deal with it. We both started with the seafood chowder this was excellent this to me was the best thing of the entire meal. Lots of seafood mostly fish. Great flavor brothy rather than way too much cream. Chowders over the last 30 or 40 years have become a different animal compared to what they used to be. Most places are so thick you could stand a spoon up in it and that's because they use way too much Roux. A lot of room is a good way of hiding the fact you actually don't have much seafood in the chowder. You put in whatever seafood base, a tiny bit of seafood and then a lot of roux & a lot of cream. Not the way it should be. But at Adair the restaurant chowder was excellent. The way a chowder should be. We then split the house salad which was really good very fresh just the right amount of dressing really tasty. For our mains I had the salmon which came with a pesto rice. I'm not a big fan of rice anyway but you know that's what was included with the meal. The salmon was good A little overcooked, which I'm generally okay with. It definitely could have used a little bit more of a sauce on top. No Richard ordered the pork ribeye. Now people need to understand this is not a ribeye like you get with a steak this is basically a loin chop. It can be done either bone in or no bone this was no bone. The meat was good, but needed more sauce. I recommend a chutney. Desserts were okay but not over the top. I think they just need to fine-tune things a little bit.Mehr erfahrenAdair Country Inn & RestaurantPreis: Hoch• Amerikanisch• Bethlehem•4,7
- MMollyNew Orleans / Louisiana •1 Bewertung4.0Besucht am 9. Dez. 2024Our server was very nice and the dining room was beautiful and pretty quiet for how busy it was. The meal itself was really overpriced for the quality. The lobster mac and cheese tasted like butane (guessing it was toasted with a torch) and the broccolini was cold. It all seemed like it was premade and reheated in a microwave. Not what you’d expect from a resort like this.Mehr erfahren1902 Main Dining Room at the Omni Mount Washington Resort & SpaPreis: Sehr Niedrig• Amerikanisch• Bretton Woods•4,5
