Established in 2011, Ristorante Daniela serves hand made Sardinian and Italian cuisine. Every detail and part of each recipe served at the restaurant is made from complete scratch, from the pasta and sauces, to the puff pastry and creams in our delicious desserts! Everything was great. We were there for happy hour and there were half priced drinks and food. We got Brussels sprouts, quesadillas, truffle fries, and blackberry tequila lemonade crushes for happy hour prices and a chicken sandwich and left with food. It was all amazing.

Loved every minute. We went at a quiet Friday lunchtime and were able to ask lots of questions about the source of the sausage and olive oil etc, as well as sharing memories of our experiences in Sardinia and hearing about the owners’ life there. Needless to say, the service was great. The food was tasty and filling and really fresh, with carefully selected ingredients. This is as close to a Sardinian meal in Sardinia as you’re going to get without actually traveling there.

I usually order the delicious crab quiche and did so again. It comes with greens and is just the perfect amount of food for me. My beverage was a cider. My husband had pork tenderloin and was very happy with his choice. He chose a hoppy IPA for his beverage. We splurged on calories and split a yummy dessert. The service was excellent even though Gertrude’s was very crowded.

As always, it was a true pleasure to dine at True Chesapeake! Great oysters, perfectly seared scallops, and great wine choices. The staff is so friendly.

Amazing. They took care of us from offering an extra appetizer on the house to sending us home with a special chocolate cake treat. The food was spectacular. The ambience delightful. A true favorite for my whole family!
