Our wines are born out of a passion for this beautiful region and its connection to ancient Scotland.The Hunter Valley is renowned for its world-class wines, and we're proud to be a part of this rich winemaking tradition. Our vineyard was originally part of the George Hunter Estate, established in the 1970s. Today, our Semillon, Shiraz, and Merlot vines are all that remain of this once sprawling 500-acre estate.We're proud to honour the legacy of James Busby, the proud Scot known as the father of Australian wine. Busby brought 500 cuttings from Europe to Australia and planted them in the Hunter region of Belford, not far from Lovedale.At Saltire Estate, we're committed to providing great quality wine at an affordable price.
