Food was of good quality, the pizzas were more mediocre than expected, but the wine and food list was strong, the cacio e pepe should be tried. The inner part of the restaurant was kind of understaffed and the staff was respectful, but the service was not the best. Overall would recommend, nice place to take a meeting or a week night dinner but don’t expect something over the top.

We had an absolutely wonderful night at Izaka Terrace. I wanted a very special place for my fiancés big birthday and Izaka delivered a divine experience. From the moment we walked in we loved it. The restaurant is a masterclass in ambience: one of those rare places you could be in alone and still have a memorable evening and not only because they have a uniquely beautiful river view. Every element of our dinner was special: the ingredients and flavours were superb - even a simply green salad is elevated by a delicious dressing. Thank you to the attentive and skilled staff for ensuring we had a very special evening. One of the top dining experiences of my life.

Read and heard about the place through different channels. We had reservations for 7pm but when we arrived, they were not ready. We sat down. We asked for the tasting menu with wine pairing. They tried to explain the dishes; explanation was not very good. Then the main waiter arrived with better knowledge. The food was very good. No question. The wine servings were very little in quantity. They forgot to top up the water glasses. The sommelier arrived later too, then left and arrived. He should learn how to pronounce the grapes. He also said Ankara was not a good place for wine when serving Kavaklidere to us. Couldn'l believe this! Kavaklidere was one of the main areas for wine growing/producing. The last dish was a desert with some sorbet. They took away all the cutlery and we were left with the sorbet on the table. it was good experience, we wouldn't go back, and I don't advise to anybody. Good food but not so good service for the price. We were only 3 couples on a Saturday night.

We arrived pretty late for our reservation, nonetheless, we were welcomed warmly. Kitchen was about to close in 15 mins when we arrived, we werent rushed at all, instead the chef took time out to explain the dishes to us and made some recommendations for our desserts. It turned out to be a really pleasant evening courtsey of the staff and chef. We will definitely be back next time we find ourself in Istanbul.
