The 17th Century craftsman’s cottage has gradually been extended to form a charming country pub full of nooks and crannies. Under new ownership, The Black Horse has recently undergone extensive refurbishment both inside and out, creating one of the nicest pub environments in the area.Food is our passion and we will never compromise on quality. The founder is a mother of three who was looking for places locally to have a nice coffee and some lovely brunch whilst my older children were at school and I had the little one with me.Locally there wasn’t anything except for the coffee shop chains who didn’t offer proper meals during those core school hours where you want to be able to have enough time to enjoy your meal but also get out by 2pm on time for the school run. There are plenty of places for lunch that open from 12 but women like the founder who maybe would like to meet a friend for a coffee and brunch there wasn’t anything.This is why I decided to start Nashtaa. Where we can all go have a lovely cup of tea or coffee, a nice brunch with a fusion twist and a homemade slice of cake to top it off! All in a beautiful Instagram worthy setting.

I want to thank all the Ivy staff for their warmth and kindness. It truly is the best place to celebrate a long anniversary or a special event. Everyone was incredibly professional and amazing, and the atmosphere was simply stunning. The afternoon tea was an incredible experience—every piece was exquisite and tasted absolutely wonderful. I cannot recommend this place enough—it’s absolutely fantastic!

Food was wonderful, service was friendly and welcoming even though they were all run off their feet with a table of 30!! It was a special occasion for us which was discreetly acknowledge by the team and it meant an awful lot to us. We will return without a doubt, it is a special place for us and the team helped to make this so. Thank you.

This is the second time we have had Sunday lunch and the food was delicious, service was first class. Our waitress Aga and the team were excellent, very helpful and extremely pleasant. Will definitely recommend going there.

I've always liked this place. It just missed the mark a little for me this time. The calamari was very very chewy. The Tuna Niçoise Salad was OK.
