The year was 1943, and Jim and Alice Wimmer decided to take a big risk, buying a small existing roadside restaurant known for its char-broiled steaks. Had a great dinner at the Del Bar in Lake Delton, WI. We have been their numerous times and not once have we had a a bad meal or poor service. The service (Shane was the server) was excellent as always. And the food again was outstanding. My wife had huge sea scallops with squash with brussel sprouts as the side. Very very good except a little light on the squash as far as quantity. I had the lobster roll, hash browns and french onion soup. Also, very very good. However, I prefer a warm lobster roll instead of the cold roll. Just my preference. We also bought a $200 gift card and received an extra $40 for use in the future. Great marketing by the Del Bar. Definitely we will be back again and again and again.
