Will definitely be making regular visits here in the future.Mehr erfahrenThe HollybushPreis: Moderat• Gastro-Pub• Bristol•4,7
- JJulietBath / Somerset •1 Bewertung5.0Besucht am 27. Dez. 2024After an hour’s walk on a misty betwixmas morning, myself, husband and trusty black lab Jack, settled into a cosy corner of the bar for lunch (booked in advance given the time of year). Despite the ‘not wanting to eat for a month’ feeling post Christmas turkey, the walk and perusing the varied menu did the trick in building up our appetites! Having seen the list of desserts, we decided to skip the small plates despite how tempting they were. I had the lamb shank, washed down with a warming glass of Merlot. The lamb was everything you’d want from a perfectly cooked shank - meat melting off the bone, coupled with fluffy Parmesan and garlic mash, red cabbage and a delicious sauce. My husband chose the cheddar soufflé which was gooey perfection accompanied by potatoes and greens. The presentation of both dishes was excellent. For dessert, I went for the vanilla and maple cheesecake with salted caramel sauce whilst my husband had the sticky toffee pudding with a specially made for him sticky toffee sauce (the menu had a brandy sauce but my husband doesn’t consume any alcohol) and ice cream. This was also delicious. Again, both desserts were beautifully presented with redcurrant and blackberry garnishes. The staff were attentive to the perfect degree, the bar area was clean, tidy and nicely laid out. The complimentary still or sparkling water was a nice touch. Overall the meal and experience was 5 star. We will definitely be back, maybe even with the teenagers! Would thoroughly recommend!Mehr erfahrenThe Cross House InnPreis: Moderat• Britisch• Bath•4,8

- TTeresaBath / Somerset •1 Bewertung4.0Besucht am 3. Nov. 2024Service was quite quick for food, slow on hot drinks. Took ages to clear away dirty plates, had to ask in the end when brought our 2nd drinks but they only took away half & forgot to return for rest. 2 people had pancakes & said very nice but a lot of pancake & not much syrup - some fruit/berries & yogurt with it would have been nice. The smoothie wasn’t freshly made & had separated in the container & even after mixing up again still kept separating making it taste a little odd.Mehr erfahrenB Block PizzaPreis: Moderat• Pizza Bar• Keynsham•3,3
