Im Laufe der Jahre habe ich ausgedehnte Reisen durch Italien unternommen auf der Suche nach neuen Ideen, Rezepten und erlesenen Weinen, um diese zurück ins Restaurant Three Tomatoes zu bringen. Meine Inspirationsquelle sind weiterhin einfache, frische und gesunde Speisen aus der Region, die für die typische Küche einer Trattoria stehen. Essen und Trinken in einer Trattoria in Italien ist genauso wie bei einer italienischen Familie zu essen. Die Stimmung kann entspannt oder ungestüm sein, bleibt aber immer freundlich. Die Trattoria ist ein Haus jenseits des eigenen Hauses sowie ein Treffpunkt für Freunde. Ich habe versucht, die Wärme der Trattoria-Küche mit ihrem offenem Feuer zu erfassen sowie das Aroma von langsam aufkochenden Soßen, gebratenem Fleisch, Fisch vom Grill und gebackenen Pizzas aus unserem eigens angefertigten Holzofen. Bei der Optimierung der neu überarbeiteten Weinkarte haben wir auf feine Unterschiede geachtet. Dabei wurden unsere Werte von der Weinmesse Vinitaly, dem Slow-Food-Netzwerk Terra Madre sowie Besuchen von Weingütern quer durch Italien, Sizilien und Sardinien beeinflusst. Im Restaurant Three Tomatoes spiegelt sich der Geist wieder, der Weine, Speisen und das gesellige Zusammensein zu so wichtigen Bestandteilen des Trattoria-Ambientes macht.

Disappointed with the lack of a gluten free bun for their delicious burgers, and the new vegetarian pad Thai was inedible. The server graciously took it back and rushed a vegetarian burger which was excellent although the bun was not good and it came with 2 fingering potatoes

We appreciate our local restaurateurs and businesses in general, but when they excel it truly brings our experience to a brand new level. Location is a bit trippy, but its something you can remember, along with the fabulous food!
