Established in 2012, I started Urban Grill and Wine Bar to add a quality restaurant with a full bar and boutique wine list to an area that is in desperate need of something unique and family operated. Having spent most of our adult lives in the restaurant business, my wife Jaylene and I understand the importance that our food be of the highest quality and our service be very friendly and professional.     The team was on point last night, Christmas Eve. Everyone’s attitude was positive, happy and cheerful for having to work on a Holiday. The food was AMAZING!! We ordered pork chop and a steak with Brussel sprouts. BEST BS EVER!! Very busy and the food came out in a timely manner, we appreciated everything!! We like the new layout and decor too

    We came here for Christmas Eve dinner. It is dark and rainy, and the front entrance is not well-marked. But after finding our way in, the ambiance was perfect. The menu is good, with lots of options for Italian food. Our party enjoyed capparise and meatballs as starters, along with lasagna, risotto, and spaghetti with a vodka sauce. Everything was tasty and well-cooked, and the portion size was not too big or too small. Our only complaint… I don't like to sit five adults in a booth. One side has to sit three, and I don't find that great for comfort or concernversation. Minor detail; otherwise, I highly recommend it.

    We consistently have a great experience at Layered. The food and coffee are always delicious, the staff are always friendly, and it’s a nice place to dine with the family. Our table was ready early and they were able to accommodate our large group of 10.
