We had a wonderful lunch with our very dear friends. The cafe was beautiful! Such unique and creative winter decor. But as always, the food was the main attraction. Our cheese plate was delicious with a great selection of cheeses and crackers, as well as the flower pot bread for spreading the softer cheeses. Everyone loved their entrees (avocado toast, salmon tartine and Caesar salad). Our server Brooke, along with her helpers made our lunch a very relaxing and fun time. And a BIG shoutout to those who accommodated our request for a table in a quiet area;)

Wonder Sunday brunch. Food stations were nicely arranged and kept full. All food selections, from starters to desserts, were nicely prepared and scrumptious. Service was exceptional. The hostess was very sweet and sat us quickly. Our server was professional, personable and checked on our table at frequencies that were just right, enough to ensure our needs were met without being intrusive. Highly recommend.

This was our 3rd time there. It seems to get better. Service was outstanding last night previously visits it was good. Everything I have tried has been excellent. Sorry I can’t go into more detail. I would be writing all day. I will say my favs were the chicken screwed appetizer with eggplant and Tabolie? So good ! And the burata is amazing

The Retriever has a cozy, comfortable atmosphere. The food is excellent. I had shucked oysters (on Special) and a fried chicken sandwich served with fries; my husband had clam chowder and a house burger with fries. The dining room is at the back of the building, set apart from the long bar, which was quite busy on a Thursday evening. There was a "buzz" in the air, but the room was not noisy at all. Highly recommended!

Great place for a holiday get together! The holiday drinks were delicious and the new menu items were fantastic. The Woodfire pizzas never disappoint.
