The year was 1943, and Jim and Alice Wimmer decided to take a big risk, buying a small existing roadside restaurant known for its char-broiled steaks. We recently celebrated a birthday at Double Cut. My son wanted a excellent steak to celebrate and having been here once before with excellent service and food, I thought we would try it again. The service was excellent with our server Brock who took very good care of us. He explained the menu and steak offerings make excellent recommendations. The food was all excellent and we all enjoyed the steak offerings which we cooked perfectly. We had the bread board and bacon as apps and both were delicious. I would not hesitate to recommend Double Cut.
