The restaurant boast some wonderful bespoke ironwork along with a vintage industrial feel . The InnThe Inn is full of old world charm with little hidden nucks for dining. This restaurant is full of character and is used at lunch times primarily, but in the evenings, it offers a cosy ambiance lit by candle light ideal for a more casual approach to dining.The Inn also offers an afternoon tea which is simply divine. Served between 2pm-5pm by prior bookings only.The Bar and Snug is a relaxed and super cosy space sticking with the old charm of the Inn which this part of the building offers. It has an impressive wood burning stove and is dog friendly.

Lovely meals, however would have been 5 stars if the veg had been hot. Also we had the food brought to table but had to ask for cutlery. All that said it was still very nice and we would definitely go again.

To be honest Keswick has lots of mediocre cafes and restaurants as holiday makers come and go. However the food in Merienda is good, especially the breakfasts, the pulled pork burger and in the evening the brown trout.

We were given a private room in which to dine. Our daughter has autism and a fear of laughing and noise. The room was beautiful and the food and service superb.
