Modern Australian Restaurant and Cafe sourcing produce from small, local farms to highlight some exciting Queensland produce, menu driven by ex-Tasmanian chef, Darryl Zeitzen who previously was only able to be booked privately for bespoke events around Queensland. With a quiet and peaceful Alfresco area, Good Grace is a a true escape and nice place to relax. Organically sourced coffee and with quality produce and sustainability at the forefront of the restaurant offering. Good Grace also has a large courtyard/beer garden and function space for up to 100 guests at the rear of the restaurant. With a more casual vibe, the space can be hired our for groups of 30-100 people, as well as having diners visit Wednesday to Sunday evenings, with different events happening throughout the year. August is a restaurant that sits in the old heritage church on Dornoch Terrace, West End. Our dining room is surrounded by objects, art, and the original pitched church ceiling and stained glass windows. Our menu is influenced by regional food from France, Italy and SpainAugust is open for dinner from 5pm on Wednesday - Saturday, and from 12pm for Sunday Lunch. Brunch is always an absolute treat at Good Grace. Incredibly dog friendly. The staff are absolutely fabulous and the food is unique ie not something we would or could prepare at home grnerous servings. The best freshest local ingredients. Congratulations again to Darryl and his team 🤗

We loved everything about this dining experience. The setting is a small converted timber church with a soaring ceiling, pine floor, starched white table cloths and simple bentwood chairs. Food is perfectly balanced and creative. Stand out for us was the pickled fennel fritters and the mud crab omelette. The food was quite rich, a more French style and for 2 of us we opted for 6 smaller dishes and desserts and didn’t have a main. Extremely happy with this choice. The drinks are interesting, natural, earthy choices rather than more classic wines, but were delicious.

Just amazing, the food was spectacular, the decor was beautiful, the staff attentive and each meal was timed perfectly. The drinks were amazing and we're definitely coming back to try more. So so much more than dining out, it was an experience like nothing else in every way.
