We brought out of town guests because we knew the experience would be great and it was. The Salmon, meatloaf, shrimp and grits and the gnocchi were excellent and Lauren, our server, was very attentive and friendly.

Our server was top notch and the food was great. Ask for Cecily if you decide to give it a try.

The Reserve Room was beautifully decorated for the holidays. I love how  quaint the setting was. Our server was amazing, very friendly and knowledgeable of all the food and beverage choices. The cocktails were very good as well as the Scallop dish and the steak au puivre. We will definitely dine in the reserve room again when available.

Our family from NY cerebrated Christmas at Choplin’s for the first time after hearing great things about the restaurant from friends in the area. We could not have chosen a better place to celebrate. The food was delicious, portions were huge and the dessert menu had something for everyone! For a group of 15, it’s not easy to satisfy everybody and Choplins nailed it! The interior has modern touches, yet warm and friendly. We can’t wait to return to this family operated gem. The service was impeccable even with so many Christmas parties going on. We live in New York City where there are amazing restaurants. I would recommend Choplin’s to anyone who has high expectations for steaks and seafood. The Port City is one of my new faves! I just love the Orange Julius and Lobster dumplings though only four at $5 each is bit much since I would love them as a meal!!!! The Chili Crusted Seared Tuna is amazing!!! Hope to make it a monthly stop.
