Beneath the hotel, a bank vault and offices were occupied by the Manufacturers Trust Company until 1980. Bar Primi is a pasta shop devoted to ‘primi piatti,’ the pasta course. What began as an idea for a small space in New York’s East Village has since become a downtown New York staple, housed on the Bowery for the last ten years. Wunderbare Empfehlung für die Hauptspeise, auch wenn diese für 2 Personen zu viel war. Generell ungewohntes Konzept für uns, Portionen reichen jedenfalls für drei. Sehr gute Weinempfehlung zum Essen, alles in allem eine Erfahrung der besonderen Art. Wenn man sich einig ist, was gegessen wird, super Entscheidung, wenn jeder was anderes will, dann ist das Lokal nicht geeignet. Portionen laut Servicepersonal für 2-4 Personen, was auch stimmt, selbst der Salat ist riesig.
