Captain James Landing Restaurant ist seit 1978 eine Institution in Baltimore und hat sich den Namen "einzigartigster Gastronomiebetrieb“ in der City von Baltimore erarbeitet. Falls Sie noch nicht hier waren, wir sind das einzige Restaurant, das wie ein Handelsschiff geformt ist. In den 70ern haben 5 Brüder ein Restaurant aufgebaut, in dem den Einwohnern von Baltimore, Maryland und auch den vielen 1000 Touristen, welche die Monumental City besuchen, ein hochwertiger Service geboten werden sollte. Unser Waterfront Crab House (neben unserem Restaurant) wurde im Jahr 2012 vom Baltimore Magazine als " #1 Best Crabs in Baltimore" ausgezeichnet. Unsere Crab House ist der Ort in der Stadt, um gedünstete Krabben direkt am Wasser zu genießen. Die Wassertaxihaltestelle Nr. 14 bringt Sie direkt zu unserem am Wasser liegenden Restaurant.

Curated by Aaron Taylor, Atlas Restaurant Group’s Corporate Chef & Chef Partner in this concept, the menu puts steak in the spotlight with over 11 cuts from Chicago-based meat purveyor Meats by Linz. The Ruxton will serve a mix of wet and dry aged prime cuts of Black Angus Beef, as well as dry aging Long Island Duck and Bison from Virginia’s New Frontier Farm in-house. To complement the steak options, seasonal shellfish and seafood entrees will be available including dover sole, Maryland rockfish, whole live lobster, king salmon, Chilean sea bass and more.The Ruxton will serve lunch every weekday and dinner 7 days a week. Wonderful Christmas Eve experience at the Ruxton. We opted for a late lunch and were totally satisfied with the service, ambiance and (of course) the food. My filet was prepared exactly as requested and it was extremely tender and delicious. My wife’s salmon dish was equally satisfying. If you haven’t been to the Ruxton yet, you have to try it. You won’t be disappointed!

This place was a 10/10! If you have a special occasion to celebrate, do not hesitate! Our server, Sammie, was delightful and the venue is gorgeous - Old school classy but not stuffy. We are foodies from New Orleans where food is a Way of life and this place was on par with some of the best in NOLA. We had the steak tartar, the Brussel sprouts, the swordfish, the Cobia, and the short ribs. Highly recommend all. We also enjoyed several inventive cocktails. All around great experience!
