Vancouver Now Has Its Very-Own Georgian Restaurant!Dediko, owned by a mother-son team, serves the country’s famous stuffed breads and dumplings out of a cheery Evergreen Boulevard cafe. Dediko’s menu is stacked with the classics of that region, with a number of different khachapuri, soup-filled dumplings called khinkali, walnut-heavy vegetable dishes called phkali, and various grilled meats called mtsvadi. Also coming from the grill, Dediko’s kababi consists of a kebab-like grilled ground chicken patty with Georgian spices, folded in a roll of lavash flatbread. Fantastic martinis made by Steve! Kyle the manager was a delight as always! The garlic shrimp was fantastic as was the kale salad and the butterscotch crème brûlée! Top-notch!

I love the food, ambience, and service at this place! We were celebrating a birthday and even received a wonderful cake/candle to top off the amazing dinner! The only "not perfect" food situation was the Burrata cheese app. It comes with focaccia bread- only 1 small slice. It was warm and wonderful, just not nearly enough bread for the large amount of cheese. We asked for more bread and received only 1 more slice. We still had cheese left over that we ate without bread. It seemed strange that they were so stingy on the bread amount. But everything else was spectacular.
