Das Jimmy Kelly's begrüßt Sie in einem prächtigen Südstaaten-Herrenhaus im Herzen der „Music City“ (Stadt der Musik). Am Standard dieses Restaurants werden noch immer alle amerikanischen Steakhäuser gemessen. Bei der Gründung im Jahr 1934, als das Land noch unter der schweren Wirtschaftskrise „Great Depression“ litt, und nur ein Jahr nach der Aufhebung der Prohibition, gab Jimmy Kelly sich selbst und seinen Gästen ein Versprechen. Einfach ausgedrückt: Er versprach, hervorragendes Steak und eine großzügige Portion Whisky zu servieren und stets einen aufmerksamen Service zu garantieren. Die Einhaltung dieses Versprechens war der Grundstein für den Erfolg des Restaurants und stellte dessen Überleben und Fortbestehen sicher. Heute, mehr als 80 Jahre später, wird das Steakhaus von der dritten Generation der Kellys betrieben und hat nicht nur in Nashville sondern im gesamten Südosten den Ruf als eines der besten Restaurants der guten alten Zeit.     Celebrating a birthday, they went out of their to make him feel special. Birthday photo, chocolates and a card. On top of that our filets were tasty and cooked to perfection. The lobster Mac & cheese was the best I’ve ever had and lava cake was great too. Our server Daniel took great care of us from start to finish. I prefer this traditional steak house to a “trendy” restaurant any day!

    First time to eat at The Henry. The staff was very personable, welcoming and attentive. Our server. Carlee was excellent; very informative and helpful. The menu is great and the food is excellent. Highly recommend the rotisserie chicken and avocado salad and the butter cake with caramel sauce for dessert. The restaurant has a good vibe.  I look forward to eating there again. I highly recommend this restaurant.

    Celebrated our 22nd wedding anniversary this past Saturday 11/23. Noted on my reservation, and they delivered. Complimentary champagne, sparkler in our banana pudding and a handwritten post card from the staff. Nichelle provided gracious service, and ensured that we were taken care of to the highest degree, she was an absolute delight. The entire staff was top notch from the moment we entered the front door. Don't miss this tucked away restaurant when in Nashville.
