Bud's at Silver Run is a casual elegant restaurant located just north of Westminster, MD and south of Gettysburg, PA. Opened in May of 2008 "Bud's at Silver Run" invites you to enjoy great dining in a casual, friendly atmosphere. Local resident Blinn Salisbury III and partner Ken Lurie are pleased to become part of the community and to revive this great location. We have searched for the right restaurant and are happy that we have found it in Silver Run. Ken brings more than thirty years of varied restaurant experience with him to Bud's. From learning under Karl Beckley at the Greenlake Grill in Seattle to Food & Beverage Director of the Virgin Grand in the Virgin Islands, Ken is excited to return to Maryland. Our goal is to enhance and enrich your dining by offering a quality restaurant experience. We hope to meet and exceed your expectations in each of your visits. Brittany our waitress made a great restaurant, an over the top experience! She was very sociable, had great suggestions on the menu & just made the dinner a great night. We never waited for anything, she was on top of everything. She made a “10” restaurant a “20”! All of our food was perfectly cooked. The drinks were great. Her wine suggestion was incredible! Very nice old mill inn. Very pleasing to the eye very inviting from the outside, nice and quaint inside, all staff were very nice and attentive. The food was above average, and I would recommend giving this place a try. Definitely worth a visit!

Always a pleasure to be at this venue. Decorated beautifully and the food never disappoints. They were very busy with a private party and a ton of reservations but decided to also accommodate an 11 top that had no reservation. That kind of jammed up the works a good bit as those who made reservations were a tad challenged. Not sure why folks think they can just walk in to a venue, especially this time of year, with no reservations, which is disrespectful to those who do but it’s 2024. Nothing really shocks me anymore. But no complaints at all. Kudos to the staff that worked hard to ensure everyone had the best experience.
