In the heart of downtown Healdsburg, one of the country’s most accomplished chefs Kyle Connaughton, along with farmer and wife Katina Connaughton, host guests at SingleThread Farm-Restaurant-Inn, a 55-seat fine dining restaurant with five exclusive suites above the restaurant. The farm, located on 24 acres in the historic Dry Creek Valley, supplies vegetables, fruit, herbs, flowers and honey, to their restaurant. Guests of the restaurant are treated to a 10-course tasting menu, showcasing the seasonal bounty from the couple’s farm. At The Matheson's third floor, adventurous cocktails are crafted from innovative spirits and seasonal fruits, flowers, and herbs.     Great tasting foods. Portions are light so you may want an appetizer and/or salad in addition to the meal. Everything was really tasty and cooked perfectly. I’ve been in louder restaurants for sure but I would’ve preferred a little more quiet so that conversations at the table could be held without significant raising of the voice.

    This was our 4th time here and it was an amazing meal, as always! The highlights were the crispy crab tacos, the lobster roll, the warm spinach salad, and the clam chowder. Despite how full we were, we had to get the banana bread pudding and it was spectacular! McKenzie provided excellent service. We come from the East Bay to celebrate special occasions here and it is always worth the 1.5 hour drive!!

    Brunch was devine! Eggs Benedict with extra hollandaise and chicken and waffles are second to none. Beautiful and comfortable patio. Service was outstanding! Will absolutely be back to try more drinks and dishes.
