Overall the dining experience was 5 stars. The waitstaff is top notch and we enjoyed our time. I did not enjoy my meal as much as I wanted too. It was very salty and in my opinion had too much oil. I suspect that this is not the norm as many people in my life rave about this place. I will try again in the future to see if it was just an off meal.

Always enjoy our meals at La Scala. Rarely disappointed in anything, and often truly surprised by one or two dishes. Service is always quite friendly, and enough. The off menu specials are the treasures here. And they make one of the best whole fish I’ve had outside of the Mediterranean.

Had a lovely dinner on a Sunday evening in Rome. Seared snapper entree, off menu, was excellent. Aviel took good care of us.
