We've been serving the people of Braintree and beyond since 2015 and in that time have humbly become ‘one of Essex’s best restaurants.’ We have received recognition from the AA, having been awarded an AA Rosette for ‘culinary excellence’ for five consecutive years, and then in 2023 we received our second rosette, putting the restaurant amongst the top 10 restaurants in Essex. Excellent evening having a family celebration meal for our daughter’s 40th birthday. Most of the dishes are gluten free or can be made gluten free which is great for us with 2 of the family being gluten free. There is a good range of dishes to choose from and the quality of the food is very good. Service was exceptional, always at the right time and no hovering. Thanks for a wonderful evening.

Pleasant venue, friendly attentive staff. We went on a Wednesday, but at 1pm, some of the dishes on the pick of the Day had already sold out, so to get full choice, so even at midweek, book your table earlier to get the full choice.
