We are a small, boutique steakhouse that focuses on exceptional food and incredible service in the mountains of East Tennessee and typically cannot seat guests earlier than their reserved time.While we have always discouraged them, our policy towards no shows/same day cancelations MUST be firm. Reid’s Cafe is located in beautiful Sugar Mountain, NC. We love the intentional, the specific, and the well-cared-for.     Relaxing ambience in a dimly-lit semi-formal environment. Excellent service by our waitress, who had a great knowledge of the menu. She was attentive, energetic, and added joy to our experience. The portion sizes were adequate, but could be more for the price of the items. Highly recommend!

    We had a wonderful experience! We arrived just before 7:30 and easily found parking. The staff were attentive and polite. The food was absolutely amazing. We ordered the mixed game grill starter, I highly recommend it! It was our first time here and also my first time trying emu and bison, they were so good. We ordered the emu fan fillet as our entrees and it was incredible. The cocktails were delicious, as was the dessert. We can’t wait to return to The Gamekeeper!
