You can't improve on this historic site but now it brims with new confidence and new cuisine. The moment you enter the front door you are greeted with warmth. Our table of 4 enjoyed 4 amazing appetizers (crispy chicken dumplings, grilled octopus, butternut fritters & pork belly), 4 delicious entrees (veal cheeks, rabbit ragu, short ribs and the pasta special), not to mention some really enjoyable cocktails. Hard to pick a favorite as everything was delicious. The menu encourages you to step outside of the box a little bit and it is so worth it. Our server, Chris, was fantastic. He gave some great recommendations, seemed to show up just when we needed him and he just added to our overall wonderful experience!

Very quaint. Still some fall flowers outside although would be prettier in spring or fall with leaves on the trees. Lovely view of the canal on one side and the river on the other. A nice wood burning fireplace. The smoked country pain was delicious.

What a fabulous experience! From the moment we arrived and entered this beautifully appointed and cozy restaurant we knew we were in for a special time. The food was exceptional-each course providing layers of flavor- and the service was excellent. Thank you to the owners, kitchen and wait staff for providing a memorable experience. We already look forward to a return visit!
