'The Crabtree, with its spectacular position downstream from The River Cafe,has a huge sprawling garden, a glazed colonnade and frontage on to theThames shaded by a weeping willow. The prawns in chilli hot oil and the toastspread with tomatoes and onions were good, so much so we ordered themagain when we returned for Sunday lunch. Essen und Trinken ausgezeichnet und auf Sterne-Niveau. Service teilweise verbesserungswürdig. Bei der Auswahl des Aperitif konnte die Angestellte nicht weiterhelfen und verwies auf die Karte. Der Aperitif und die Vorspeise wurden beinahe zeitgleich serviert. Es kam der Eindruck auf, dass man schnell die Gänge durchessen und dann wieder gehen soll. Bei Preisen von 100£ pro Person (3 Gänge, Aperitif und je 2 Glas Rotwein) nicht angemessen. Das haben wir schon besser erlebt im Harwood Arms!
