It’s Personal at Petronella. We are a relaxed, informal restaurant situated on romantic Butterslip Lane. Petronella is charming, situated over two floors, in one of Kilkenny's oldest and historic buildings - we focus on wonderful Irish food and service - seasonal, delicious, yet joyously casual dining. Really good food, menu is not “traditional” but the beef hash (I’ve had it before) and today’s fish special (hake) were lovely. Service is just right, not too intrusive. Really good; hopefully will be back soon.

Lovely meal,great choice of dishes and wine is excellent. Love the atmosphere in MCB. Staff are very friendly and service is very good. We needed a bigger table and we were accommodated without any fuss. A memorable gathering of family. Thank you MCB.
