Went there for the wife's birthday. As always, great food and great service. Will always recommend this place to everyone that asks for a nice place to dine in Des Moines. Never fails to be the best place to be served and to eat at for a special occasion.

We were pleased to have our Red Lobster in Ames, Iowa open on Christmas Day as many dining venues were not. We made a reservation and were seated upon our arrival. Our waitress was friendly, attentive, and polite. Our waitress told us her family of eight was sitting at the table across from us. Thank you for being our family on Christmas Day!

Flatbread pizza was awesome! Service outstanding. We were there early so not busy at all. Bet it's a cool place to be when a smokin' little jazz band is playing!
