The original Vickers Tavern has been completely renovated, and the White Dog Cafe has preserved the building's history while adding chic farmhouse aesthetics and dog-themed decor. The restaurant features seven distinct dining rooms, each with its own unique personality and design. In addition, there is an expansive outdoor patio with a gas fireplace and retractable cover. The open Barn room includes a large oval bar, a sitting area by an open fireplace, and doors leading to the outdoor potting shed. In a single word: Outstanding!! We have gone for the Seven Fishes buffet on Christmas Eve for three years straight and this year was even better. They just keep improving year by year and they were already great to begin with. The staff is top notch, the restaurant itself is very nice. It’s situated in a “restaurant row” and the parking is easy to navigate. As far as the food, it’s incredible!! It’s ok if you don’t like fish, that’s OK. They have plenty of options. It’s all superb. They cherry on top is their staff. Everyone is super nice and polite. The gentlemen working the carving station recognized that one of our party had mobility issues and made sure to bring her the salmon as soon as it was brought out. He wasn’t even a server and he brought it to the table!! It was indicative of the level of service offered. I can say enough great things about this place. We have eaten there multiple times over the years and aver meal has been terrific!! Looking forward to the next time. Thank you for reading this and try the Brickside, you won’t be sorry!

Our Waiter Chris was outstanding. Kind, professional and efficient. My Wife and I had the flounder picata which was outstanding. Enjoyed our meal and the service. Highly recommended.
