The year was 1943, and Jim and Alice Wimmer decided to take a big risk, buying a small existing roadside restaurant known for its char-broiled steaks. Overall great service and good food. One person in the group ordered steak medium rare came out medium. He said still taste good but not exactly how he likes it.

This is our second Christmas Brunch at the Charmant. I chose this restaurant again as I was so impressed with last year’s Christmas Brunch. I believe the menu was the same this year but my wife and I tried different items. We enjoyed our time again and will probably make it again next year. The cornmeal pancakes were delicious! I had a side of ham which left me wanting more! My wife had the Charmant Breakfast with sausage links. She was very pleased with the scrambled eggs, sausage links and GF toast. I couldn’t finish my corn meal pancakes so took the remainder home. I’m not as big of an eater as I once was. The two pancakes for me were quite filling.
