The story of St Andrews Beach Brewery dates back to the early 2000’s, when our Co-founder Andrew Purchase built the racetrack on the property for the royal family of Australian horse racing – the Freedman Brothers. When the property became available in 2015, Andrew and Michael Freedman saw an opportunity that was too good to miss. With the infrastructure in place and with a story like no other, Andrew, Michael and their passionate team of co-owners set about turning the former stables into a truly unique brewery.Before you book a stable in our one of a kind refurbished stables, please note the following; Stable bookings can seat groups from 5-20 and for a maximum of 3 hours. If you are unable to book at your preferred time all of our reserved seating is booked. A great position overlooking the river (we had a table on the terrace. Very good food and service. Steak was exceptional. Staff were friendly without being over familiar. Cocktails were awesome and they made me a fab Long Island iced tea without any fuss although it wasn’t on their list. A really enjoyable experience

The food was good, I was just annoyed that they don’t do steaks for lunch. Never been to a pub that does this. A bit annoyed. As we travelled 2 hours to come down to the beach and have a steak at the pub. Could’ve gone elsewhere but when you’ve got 3 little kids you don’t really want to be getting back in the car.
