The year was 1943, and Jim and Alice Wimmer decided to take a big risk, buying a small existing roadside restaurant known for its char-broiled steaks. How fitting that in 2018, the restaurant's 75th anniversary year, the third generation of Wimmers, Amy Wimmer, takes the helm from her father Jeff and his wife Jane, bringing her own adventurous spirit to the Del-Bar, the same kind of spirit she so admired in her grandparents.     The reservation process was a breeze, walked in and was greeted and seated promptly. The server, Mike B. was attentive and courteous, I even made mention to the manager upon leaving that he was outstanding. The dinner was exquisite, mouthwatering good. This is one of our favorite dining spots. Thank you for the Valentine's Day dinner. Best part, I didn't have to do the dishes. It was a bit drafty sitting so close to the door...

    Highly recommend. We go to Fields every time we are in the Dells and we wanted to try something different. Absolutely delicious. Service was incredible and the ambience is definitely supper club vibes with a Frank Lloyd Wright vibe. 15 out of 10.

    My mother and I dined here on Easter and we had a most magnificent time! Our server Marty was wonderful, caring, and humorous. Thank you for his service. I noticed that this Red Lobster could use a makeover. The carpet looks worn and dirty, and the bench we were sitting had torn fabric. Also, the dust on the ledges was quite noticeable.
