The latter may evoke a sense of familiarity among weekenders visiting from Melbourne, but it’s also a solid hint at the pedigree behind this place.The Only Hospitality Group (Bentwood, Stanley and Hotel Collingwood) took over and refreshed the site at the end of 2021, retaining the textured curves and decorative fluting on the building’s historic facade.Inside is bright and airy with polished concrete and soft timbers throughout. The story of St Andrews Beach Brewery dates back to the early 2000’s, when our Co-founder Andrew Purchase built the racetrack on the property for the royal family of Australian horse racing – the Freedman Brothers. When the property became available in 2015, Andrew and Michael Freedman saw an opportunity that was too good to miss. With the infrastructure in place and with a story like no other, Andrew, Michael and their passionate team of co-owners set about turning the former stables into a truly unique brewery.Before you book a stable in our one of a kind refurbished stables, please note the following; Stable bookings can seat groups from 5-20 and for a maximum of 3 hours. If you are unable to book at your preferred time all of our reserved seating is booked. A place that feels like home.. I don't mean that in a sense that the place is covered in dog hair, the tv is blaring, the kids are screaming and there's lego all over the floor; more in a sense that you feel welcomed, content and at home from the minute you enter, right up until you leave. We wanted to create a place, that I myself, would want to visit on a regular basis. A place where your name is more important to us than your money is. A place where you feel like a regular from your first visit. A place where you feel like a part of our family. A place you felt you've been before. A place that feels like home.... Ok, so we have fancy wine glasses, twinkling candles, nice chairs and really shiny cutlery, but don't let that fool you... We're humble, both in our service and in our food, and pretentiousness and oversized egos were banished from the premises the day we started trading. Before you book, please note the following:Picnics are $30 per head and children's meals can be ordered on the day. Payment is required upon checking in for your picnic experience.Your picnic will include a selection of pizzas, salad and chips, with drinks to be purchased at an additional cost during your picnic. If you have even the smallest of things to celebrate this is the best venue ever. The beer is a girls best friend. Tastes amazing. Food is awesome. Dog friendly to the max and the kids were having a ball. Great live music Our family from Queensland were blown away. Us locals truly are spoilt.

Such a lovely night! The owner was super knowledgeable and made perfect recommendations. I will definitely be back for the short rib and the mulled wine!!!

We had a lovely dinner on a Thursday night with family. Staff were engaging, friendly and welcoming. The food was outstanding and had something for everyone's taste. Staff were happy to recommend dishes and they did not disappoint. The restaurant was quiet as it was a Thursday night but this suited us perfectly as we were able to chat easily. The desserts were also delicious and they were happy to provide extra plates and spoons so we could share. The restaurant has a cosy ambience and we will definitely return... soon!

We ordered the papa's special with crunchy prosciutto and it was delicious. A bit disappointed with he menu as it was very limited but it was very tasty. Service was very good. Would of liked more alcohol choices. But I will go again.

Overall good .Could be a better range with the wine inc price point . Bit expensive for a cafe . The guy running the place was excellent.Sorted our issues with the wine .
