The Sou'Wester Restaurant and Gift Shop began in 1967 as a small five table tearoom at the side of a house at its present location. It has been expanded over the last five decades to a 180-seat restaurant offering traditional Maritime and seafood dishes, and a two-level gift shop with one of the Maritimes largest selections of giftware. Today, more than 50 years later, The Sou'Wester is still run by the family of its founder, Jack Campbell.

    Absolutely outstanding food and customer service. Would highly recommend the Brothers meats pizza, fish and chips, cornbread & brussel sprouts. Would go back for sure!!

    The Keg overall is a great restaurant. The greeters are always friendly, the servers are fantastic and the food was amazing. We gave a 4 for food only as they still don't have any gluten free options. It was also a little on the noisy side. Never a disappointment at the Keg, just some fine tuning.

    We enjoyed a lovely breakfast and were very happy with the peacefulness at that hour and this time of year, More guests were venturing inside to eat as we were about ready to depart, We are always very happy and relaxed and surprised at how many people were around even on a cold windy day,

    Wonderful server! Great food ! Serving size good for me but perhaps c or old be a little bigger for my male partner! Sorry to hear we were there on last weekend of the season due to slow business these past few weeks! Looking forward to their reopening in the New Year!
