Zou Zou’s is a lively and modern Eastern Mediterranean restaurant from chef Juliana Latif, who spent years working at some of the most notable restaurants throughout New York City, including The NoMad. The menu is inspired by and celebrating the cuisine and flavors of the Eastern Mediterranean region, bringing in influences from Lebanon, Israel, Turkey, Egypt, Syria, and Jordan, among others. Zou Zou’s is located within the Manhattan West Plaza, on the ground level of Pendry Manhattan West. Beneath the hotel, a bank vault and offices were occupied by the Manufacturers Trust Company until 1980. With the opening of Butcher & Banker, the public can see the vault for the first time in 37 years.

Wunderbare Empfehlung für die Hauptspeise, auch wenn diese für 2 Personen zu viel war. Generell ungewohntes Konzept für uns, Portionen reichen jedenfalls für drei. Sehr gute Weinempfehlung zum Essen, alles in allem eine Erfahrung der besonderen Art. Wenn man sich einig ist, was gegessen wird, super Entscheidung, wenn jeder was anderes will, dann ist das Lokal nicht geeignet. Portionen laut Servicepersonal für 2-4 Personen, was auch stimmt, selbst der Salat ist riesig.
