Serving freshly cooked food all day everyday from midday to 9pm at night, in the cosy bar, restaurant or in the stunning riverside all-weather conservatory, there is a fine selection of wine, ales, cocktails to choose from. The bar area and terrace is dog friendly, we cannot accept any pets in the conservatory or restaurant.

You’ll find Plate at No. 6 down a cobbled lane in the heart of Windsor, nestled amongst the pubs and boutiques of the old town. We are a tapas restaurant, drawing upon the culinary riches of the Mediterranean Basin; our plates reflect the diversity of cuisines found in Spain, Turkey, France, Morocco, Italy, Greece and Lebanon. All our dishes are created by our head chef Olindo who draws on these inspirations his signature dishes including a seafood gnocchi.The open kitchen and lime wash walls define the chic, intimate dining space of Plate at No.6. The only thing you’ll find in our freezer will be ice cream.

    Staff is just perfect, they’re attentive and friendly. Food was amazing and it’s great to see more vegan options, 2 other companions said that’s the best beef wellington they had. Well done everyone!

    What a lovely breakfast! Well presented, tasty, generous portions and superb coffee! Great specials advertised too … will need to go back! Weekday breakfast special until end Feb @ £10pp, Mondays all you can eat wings night, Tuesday all you can eat ribs night, and also now offering a Sunday lunch. See you soon!

    All of the team working on the morning of 15th February 2025 were delightful, polite and attentive. We could not have asked for better service. Food was delicious and delivered promptly. Atmosphere lovely (except one child having a meltdown which was managed admirably by the parents). Thanks to everyone who served us and cooked for us.

    Love coming here as the atmosphere and quality of food is always excellent. Would highly recommend the frites starter, as they are a clear house favorite. Great selection of non-alcoholic drinks also. Atmosphere is very relaxed and the staff really ensure you are looked after. Definitely one of my regular go to spots.
