The Michelin Starred, Fordwich Arms, located in the smallest town in England, dates as far back as 1828. Draped in ivory and wisteria in the most picturesque location over looking the Great River Stour, the perfect setting for an idyllic summers lunch. Daniel and Natasha Smith took over The Fordwich Arms in 2017 and were awarded a Michelin Star within the first year, as well as being in the top 100 gastro pubs in the UK, multiple culinary awards, notable wine awards and various other accredits, a testament to their hair work and talent. The seasonal menus focus on provenance, showcasing the best of local Kentish ingredients, sourced directly from local farms and producers.     The beef brisket was so delicious and tender. Chicken wings are a must. Chicken gyoza best I've ever had. The couple next to us got the meaty platter and it definitely looked a little on the small side to say it was £70 so I'd recommend choosing the individual meats rather than the platter to get more for your money!

    What a beautiful place and a fancy menu that actually tastes good! This is the second time I have been to the Fordwich Arms and both times the food and the service have been second to none. You can get a beautiful fine dining type experience for £250 (including a couple of drinks) that rivals some of the top London restaurants. FIVE STARS

    2nd visit to Sekkoya. The food was faultless, absolutely delicious. Service was great too. Waitress lovely, friendly and efficient. Toilets spotless. Attended to and food served quickly. We even had dessert! And my chocolate brownie was something I never wanted to end!! My lamb curry was so scrummy, I wanted to lick the bowl! The seats were comfortable and the decor is tasteful. Well lit but not over bright. Just a fantastic experience. Long live Sekkoya!! 5⭐️
