   The staff was super sweet and accommodating. It was a Friday night and the drinks got backed up, so waiting for drinks took a bit longer than expected. Our severe was very nice and was great about checking in on us

   This was the fourth time I've eaten at Ida Claire. All other times were outstanding. This visit included four people. All meals were good except for the eggs were cold on my husband's meal.

   Food was mediocre. Drinks, as usual, were fabulous though!

   If you like a huge room full of strangers talking loudly and spicy food, this is the place for you! They even make spicy mac n cheese!! I choked on the first bite and coughed for at least 2 minutes before sending it back! The fried chicken was good, although with some spice. I was able to eat it. The sweet potato fries were good but also a bit spicy, even though I ordered it without spice. To calm my stomach down, I ordered apple pie a'la mode, which was good, but you need a knife to cut the crust. It was tasty though. My friend had 1/2 a sandwich (Monte Cristo) and cup of gumbo. She liked both. With iced tea for me and water for her, the bill exceeded $50 by a few cents!!! That's prior to a tip.........................too spicy for my stomach and too expensive to return.
