Das Hennen ist ein gehobenes und doch legeres Restaurant, das auf frische Meeresfrüchte und zertifizierte Angus Steaks spezialisiert ist. Für die Zubereitung der Gerichte werden ausschließlich frische Zutaten verwendet... Das Hennen liegt im Herzen der Innenstadt von Chattanooga, direkt neben dem Tennessee Aquarium, dem IMAX Theater und nur wenige Gehminuten von mehreren Hotels entfernt. Das elegante Ambiente besticht durch einen Weinkeller mit 2.400 Weinflaschen, der sich im Zentrum des Essbereiches befindet.     The food was excellent! The atmosphere was warm and cozy. The chocolate cake was awesome! Our sever was a bit rude and annoying. Still one of our favorite restaurants in Chattanooga.

    Our server, McKenzie, was such a delight to have. Although our reservations were pretty late, the staff did not make us feel rushed while ordering or eating. The food was beyond delicious! The short ribs were so tender and the mashed potatoes were to die for. The next time I am in Chattanooga again, I will definitely be back at Hennen’s.

    The 1st time I experienced Hennen's was over 12 years ago @ business dinners. From that time to last night for Valentine's Dinner with my wife, it is one of our favorite restaurants!!!! From the food to the service and ambience the restaurant has been top on our list. It's nice that all these things have stayed at this level for all these years!!!!

    Pretty good meals. The Mahi was just ok, chicken good. Appetizer, salads, and sides were incredible. Dessert was too

    Love this restaurant. Our go-to place whenever we are in Chattanooga. The service, ambience and food are always on point.

    My birthday dinner, we drove 2 hours to Chattanooga to spend the night and have a great dinner. Came in the door and waited around for someone to greet us, then when we finally got sat it was another 10 minutes before anyone came to us. The restaurant was empty except for 3 other tables in the whole place. We put in an app and 2 cocktails and waited almost 20 minutes for the drinks. We were almost done with the appetizer before we got our drinks. After almost a hour since we got there we finally got our food. Steak came out cold, my husband ordered the flounder that came with a tartar sauce and they forgot to put it on the plate (3 items to remember to put on the plate and only got 2/3) and portions were very small for the price. The food was pretty good but nowhere near the $150 when we got the check. After tip it was a $180 dinner for 2 people to get 2 small cocktails, a crab cake(very small and costs $19), and 2 entrees. A hour and a half and $180 later we were unsatisfied and still hungry.

    Our dinner at Hennen’s was deliciously awesome! Everything from the Bruschetta to the salads, to the Filet (Oscar for me), to the Turtle Cheesecake was prepared perfectly. The waitress was totally attentive and on the ball. It’s not cheap, but it’s good!

    We sat towards the back and enjoyed that area. It was not overly crowded and not loud.

    Steaks and meatloaf were awesome. I ordered the triple fish platter and the first one brought out was dry and overcooked. The second one was almost as bad. I guess I learned to not order fish in a steakhouse, the chef obviously treats fish as if it needs to be cooked to death. My friends and family had excellent steaks, so all was not lost.
