Traditionally inspired from dishes, ingredients & techniques spanning the Malay archipelago, namely Singapore & Indonesia. Regionally influenced by Northern California’s palette of producers, produce, and presentation.     Took my brother here for his birthday. I knew he would like the kind of food and I didn’t know if I would. I had been to the bakery and enjoyed all three pastries I’ve gotten so I wanted to try this new restaurant. It was very nice. We got a combination of probably five dishes and then dessert. There were a lot of unique flavors and we liked everything a lot. I would definitely go back.

    We have been frequenting this restaurant after viewing a film at the Orinda Theatre. We have found the service to be accommodating and the food delicious. I appreciate that they have many vegetarian choices in their soups and entrees. The noise level is usually moderate. It was energetic on this day because there was a large group watching the Super Bowl.
