Manor Hill Tavern occupies the historic Taylor’s Row in Old Ellicott City. Not crowded at all on Friday midday. Had an allergy menu ready to share with us. QR code lets you order drinks and food at your own pace and without having to wait for servers. We were checked on many times… since there wasn’t a lot of customers, but a lot of staff. We had meat and cheese board, pretzel and sausage roll. Meat & cheese board was just ok. Others were great. Drinks were awesome- Baltimore blonde and lemon raspberry experimental one were our favs.

We had a great meal at Sobo! We split the crab dip appetizer (so yummy and lots of crab meat and old bay). We then each had the mussels, the burger, and the Brie grilled cheese. We split the carrot cake for dessert. Carrot cake was good, but their smith island cake (which was sadly sold out) was even better! Love the lively and warm atmosphere here on cold winter nights!

The greeting, food and service were excellent. I had the lobster grilled cheese and fries. The server was kind enough to give me a taste of a wine to help me decide between two. The decor and architecture are warm and upscale feeling. The interior is gorgeous.
