Walk-in's always welcome! Screen Door is a restaurant that presents itself as a love letter to the American South and the revival of regional cooking. Each day, the restaurant receives natural, local organic meats and produce from nearby vendors. The inclusion of regional Pacific Northwest ingredients into a menu of dishes developed in the south has created a unique flavor profile in Screen Door's menu. Many of Screen Doors dishes draw their inspiration from Louisiana and the Cajun cooking that's found there. These include our world-famous Fried Chicken, Lowcountry shrimp and grits, smoked andouille chicken gumbo and fried okra. Other items, like the house-smoked beef brisket and braised pork shoulder, come straight from the state of Texas. We each had something different , bananas foster, pancakes with apple/ cranberry crumble, seasonal vegetable scramble and every dish was welcomed wit a “oh, you have to try a bite!” Thank you, I try to bring my family once each holiday season.

Glad the prime rib is back on the Saturday menu. Good size piece of cow cooked to perfection. The halibut was also excellent.

Wow. We had been here a few years ago right when they opened and it was OK but not great. They have since remodeled and obviously have a new chef, and the food was fantastic. We will definitely be back soon!
