Restaurant Review: Rusty Scupper – Baltimore, MD (Inner Harbor) My wife and I recently visited Rusty Scupper for the first time on Valentine’s Day, and the experience was nothing short of exceptional. Service & Atmosphere I had made a 7:30 PM reservation, and we arrived at 7:28 PM. After checking in at the front desk, we walked upstairs, and within 20 seconds, our name was called. The seating process was smooth and well-organized, setting the tone for the rest of the evening. Food & Drinks Due to the holiday, the restaurant had a set menu. I ordered the lobster tail, while my wife opted for the lobster tail with an added crab cake. Both dishes were cooked to perfection, and the flavors were outstanding. The drinks complemented our meal perfectly, enhancing the overall dining experience. Final Thoughts Rusty Scupper delivered excellent service, a welcoming atmosphere, and top-tier seafood. It has definitely earned a spot on my list of restaurants to return to. If you’re looking for a great waterfront dining experience in Baltimore’s Inner Harbor, this place is a must-visit. Great things stay great - as do great restaurants. Last year we visited Bluestone on V-Day and guess what? We did again this year! Many comments I made last year in my Bluestone review remain equally valid: 1. Grace under pressure - Restaurants can display managerial weaknesses on Valentine's Day. Even good and great restaurants, which can get crushed by numbers of holiday celebrants. V-Day may be one of the busiest nights of the year for upscale restaurants. However, the best of the best shine through under the pressure. So was the case with Bluestone on V-Day 2025. Management acumen made the restaurant not seem overly crowded or too bustling but clearly every seat was filled. Bluestone manages its reservations and wait-list with aplomb. 2. Food was wonderful per its lofty standards - We expect greatness at Bluestone and it delivered. Again. The Crisfield Stew never disappoints. Big hunks of fresh seafood in a very tasty broth - like bouillabaisse crossed with Maryland Crab Soup...." I had the highly excellent crabcake-stuffed-flounder, served on a bed of very tasty seasoned rice - sort of a risotto. We devoured the super-hot, fresh rolls while enjoying a couple of perfect cocktails featuring blackberries. Our newish waitress Lauren was rock solid (Kelsey last year probably cannot be topped). All told we dropped $143 but Bluestone is worth every penny. . So what's stopping you? Go to Bluestone.

With the exception of the chargrilled oysters and the "bearnaise" sauce, our meals (Filet Mignon and Prime Rib) were excellent. What standed out as Exceptional was the service.....our server, Carly (?) and our Assistant Manager (?) Alex exemplified what great customer service should be.....very impressive! We will certainly be back!

Staff was amazing, the food for our first time there was amazing taste. The drink I had for Valentines was amazing, reminded me of an old fashioned!!! Can't wait to return

It had been a while since we had dined here. Only the second time since they renovated and reopened. While it isn't quite as fancy as before, the food remains good. A few items are off the menu (a good spinach salad for starters) the menu remains strong. We both had steaks which were cooked as requested. We had a great meal.
