Emelina's Peruvian Restaurant began in 2011 in a small location in the city of San Carlos. The loyalty and appreciation of our customers, as well as the good service and quality of our food, have allowed us to consolidate and expand our presence to other cities in the Bay Area. In 2023, Emelina's opened in Santa Clara and in 2024, a new location opened in San Jose. In June 2024, Emelina's Plus opened on historic Murphy Avenue in Sunnyvale. We hope to continue counting on your preference and we are committed to providing you with the same quality, appreciation and warmth as always.

In fairness to all guests, Open Table reservations are accepted *ONLY* for parties of 6 to 10 people. Smaller parties are walk-in only; larger parties should call ahead for special arrangements.We serve an international selection of wine by the glass and bottle. We did a quick booking to have a family gathering there. The menu offers many choices to suit individual tastes, and the food was delicious. The ambience was more open and not so private, but it works well for our type of casual dining.

We love trying out various ethnic foods and Emelinas, Sunnyvale delivered a delicious taste of Peru. Service was excellent and background music lively while not too loud. We’ll return for sure!

We were there on a night with street music on Murphy so more crowded than usual and maybe a bit understaffed. They created additional seating for us outside which was great. Food was ok and the menu was eclectic but sufficient to offer many choices with a large wine and beer selection. They looked to have a full bar inside but only served wine and beer which was fine for us. Service was a little slow but there were a couple of large parties that took up time. Overall we were happy with our experience.
